The private label shower filter lead time at Jinko is built from three confirmed numbers: 2 to 3 days for a sample of an existing model, 5 to 7 days for a customized sample with your logo or other changes, and 20 days of mass production after you approve the sample. Shipping comes on top and depends on your market. Most delays happen between those steps, not inside them, so this guide walks through each stage and what you can do to keep it short.
The timeline stage by stage
| Stage | Time | What decides it |
|---|---|---|
| Inquiry and quote | Reply usually within 24 hours | How complete your first message is |
| Sample | 2 to 3 days for an existing model, 5 to 7 days for a customized sample | Whether you test the standard product first, and how much you change |
| Approval | Up to you | How fast you test the sample and send one round of feedback |
| Mass production | 20 days after sample approval | Includes leak, pressure resistance, appearance and packaging checks before shipment |
| Shipping | Depends on your market | Destination and shipping method |
The only stage fully in your hands is approval. It is also where a slow or partial reply can lead to a second sample round and add days to the total.
Existing model or custom: two paths
On Jinko’s shower filters, logo, packaging and the user manual are standard services. Color, surface finish and cartridge formula are evaluated for each order. That split gives you two paths:

- Existing model with your logo, packaging and manual. The shortest route. You can test an unbranded sample in 2 to 3 days, then approve a customized sample with your branding, with no evaluation of custom parts before production.
- Custom color, finish or cartridge formula. The factory first checks what is possible for your model and quantity, then makes a customized sample. Plan for more time before production starts.
Many brands launch on the first path and move to the second once the product sells. Our OEM vs ODM vs private label guide explains what each level of customization involves.
What slows an order down
Delays rarely come from production itself. They usually come from:
- Incomplete inquiries. A quote needs the product, your sales channel, the quantity and what you want to customize. Missing one adds a round of questions.
- Artwork that is not ready. Logo files and box text that arrive late hold up the sample.
- Feedback in pieces. Comments sent over several days, or by several people, often mean a second sample.
- Changes after approval. Switching model, color or quantity once production is planned restarts part of the process.
- Public holidays. Factory and shipping holidays move dates, so check them against your launch.
How to shorten your lead time
- Send a complete first inquiry: product, sales channel, quantity and customization.
- Prepare your logo as a vector file and your box and manual text before you order the sample.
- Start with an existing model if your launch date is tight.
- Test the sample on a real shower as soon as it arrives, and send one complete list of feedback.
- Approve with photos of the final sample so production matches it.

Our private label sample approval guide lists what to check on the sample, and the shower filter packaging guide covers the artwork you need ready.
Repeat orders
A repeat order with no changes usually skips the sample stage and starts from production, because the approved sample is already the reference. Confirm the timing with your sales contact when you reorder.
Plan repeat orders from your sales, not from your stock running out. Cartridges should be changed every 3 to 6 months, so refill demand builds steadily after launch.
A worked example
Say you want a JK-S4 with your logo, box and manual, and no other changes. You order an unbranded sample first, which arrives in 2 to 3 days, and test it on a real shower. You send your logo and box artwork the same week, and the branded sample takes 5 to 7 days. You reply with one complete round of feedback and approve. Mass production then takes 20 days.
That is roughly four weeks of factory time, plus the days you spend testing and approving, plus shipping to your market. Add a custom color or cartridge formula and the evaluation comes first, so start earlier. If you are working towards a holiday, plan backwards from the selling date as our shower filter gift set guide shows.
